The rifle features a matte blued steel barrel measuring 18? with 1:16? twist rate. The barrel has #4 varmint contour also boasts the famous HK polygonal bore profile which effectively seals propellant gases behind the bullet thus increasing bullet velocity. The barrel also has 1?28? threading w/ cap.

Tough & Tactical
This rifle comes together with a tough and top-notch synthetic black tactical/varmint style stock that showcases a beavertail forend, front and rear eyelets, and a rubber recoil pad.
The beaver tail forend on this rifle provides a more positive grip, can soak recoil, and protect the operator from a hot barrel.

Oversized Bolt Handle

The stock
The new howa comes with a stock that resembles a KRG in terms of grip angle and ergonomics. Features M-LOK underneath the front of the stock, at the rear of the stock, precision shooters will enjoy a generous, vertical pistol-grip stock, complete with a butthook that allows shooters to anchor the rifle and fine-tune elevation adjustment with rear bags and their support hand.
